Finger and Toe Dermal Anchors

You know, when Phil shouted across the office that we had some pictures of dermal anchors on toes and fingers, I thought it was a pretty lame idea… But now that I see them, I’ve got to admit they look really cool, sort of like “bandless rings” or something. Someone needs to file a patent, ha. Anyway, these were done in 16ga by Trevor at Urban Art in Mesa.

I _really_ like the way those look – but are they healed, or fresh? Are those viable placements?

can we see how does it look like on the other side?

They’re dermal anchors, so they have no other side. This isn’t really how they work, but imagine someone sticking a push pin into the skin — that’s the affect of a dermal anchor.

Bravo! Now there is a cool new piercing idea. And, just in time for summer sandals. Be sure to post more when you do them!
