"This is my ear..
I had it done a few months ago (around June 2007) in the studio I worked for. The idea came because where I live it became a fashion to have a knuckle buckle, or a knuckle pendant, or clothes with little brass knuckle designs, and everyone started to wear them. From emo kids to hardcore kids, so I decided to get my own (painful) knuckle for myself. Thats how it started!
No anesthesia just a bisturi knife. As we were ready to start the third one, the lights went out in the building so we had to cancel the appointment and wait a month to heal the first two and continue with the last two (the upper ones), they were definitely the most painful! But you know; No pain, no gain!
I had them for around three months and then removed them because it looked like a huge butterfly, and my other ear was so little compared to the brass knuckle’d one."

I think it’s cool, but if he wants to continue stretching his lobe, it’s going to look way lopsided unless he stretches the others too.

i wonder if its easy to catch the knuckles thing without one next to his ear. it looks like it might not illicit that connection

This is definitely interesting. I wonder how heavy the jewelry is (or maybe was since he took it out). It just looks like it has a bit of weight to it, especially the way it hangs off of the ear like that.
