Ben Pass’s amazing vegan sleeve was done by Russ Abbott at Ink and Dagger in Atlanta, Georgia. No offense to the bacon armband, but I think this is by far my favorite food-themed tattoo to date.

  22. Being vegan, I love this. Love love love. It’s beautiful.

  23. Awesome and it’s nicely paired with a kind of traditional background;
cherry petals are not as interesting as a handful of healthy veggies ;)

  24. that is so sick
    Russ Abbott certainly gets
    my respect for that piece

  38. I saw Ben’s arm before this tattoo, and I must say it looks way better after. They put a ton of research into this and it paid off.

  39. I’m not vegan and this still looks delicious! I love vegetables.

  40. I got to see this one in progress and it looked amazing from the start. Glad to see the finished work and way to go Russ. That guy is beyond talented.

  41. Your arms look good enough to eat, but they, alas, are not vegan.

  42. i think this tattoo is beautiful!!!!!!! stunning, even!!!!!!!!!

i have toyed with the same idea for years…(im an amatuer chef, vegetarian, gardener!) and i still might do it. sorry :S

  43. but of course not an exact copy!!!!

just thought i would clarify that before people started picking apart what i just said. calling me name and hurting my feelings real bad!

  44. I still want an avocado and a artichoke

  45. i love meat but i think i would give it up for that beauty!

  46. wahoo for being a modified vegan!

  47. yay for vegans!

  48. Fuck vegans, but this sleeve annihilates the bacon armband. He should get a meat sleeve on the other arm once he starts eating real meat again.

  49. So Jealous my strawberry do not look nearly as good as yours. Love It Babe…

  50. Pieces like this make me want to get tattooed…

  51. Wow.
Maybe I should get all my fave foods tattooed on me….bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cheese, salad, onions…
Yeah, no. Retarded, but good work.
Nobody cares about what other people eat. I just can’t believe not eating meat would be that big of a fucking deal…at least enough to get a sleeve of it.

  52. What would be a big enough fucking deal to necessitate a sleeve tattoo? A nice drawing of a unicorn riding a rainbow? Who cares about what people care about?

While the tattoo does remind me a little of Jehovah’s witnesses pamphlet artwork, it it certainly well done, and tasty lookin’ to boot.

  53. Gorgeous sleeve! Is it possible to be in love with an arm? Veggies ftw!

  54. damn i love this tattoo i cant stop think about this vegan sleeve, its so amazing :)
i had the same idea :S but you did it first, now i need to find a new idea ( i dont like rip off tattoos )

so far this one of my fav tattoos ever

  55. Scratch and Sniff tattoos anyone?

  56. Would it be rude to get a tattoo inspired by this? I would LOVE to get a fruit sleeve - it’s been on my mind for a few months, and this is just so beautiful that it’s pushed the idea into overdrive!

  57. I don’t think there’s anything rude about being inspired by someone else’s art. Go for it!

(As long as you don’t copy it exactly of course!)

  58. That’s amazing! Simply amazing!
    Go Vegan! (with vegan ink)

  59. Thank you for the great comments. Russ did an awesome job, like always. I love my arm. I just got tattooed by Mark Longnecker in Cocoa Beach today. I’ll have to post pics soon.
