Paraplugs Redux

Some of you were left with questions after the last post to feature Michael‘s incredible 30 mm. tongue piercing. Well, here are some alternate angles! This is just massive, to say nothing of the 11.5 mm. philtrum and 22 mm. oval labret.

  1. Wish he was gay, and I could give him a thorough mutual-tongue-licking kiss. Well….., I can dream…..

  2. any chance of a photo without the plug? I wonder how his speech is affected.

    A wee interview wouldn’t go amiss ;-)

  3. i want to know how much this would shrink if removed… anyone know anything about how much the adv. tounge can close after big stretches?
also i think it would be really cool to see what it looks like with the jewlery out

  4. Amazing job Mikey. It looks spectacular! in a reply to post 6….. that wasn’t necessary and it was rude. Shut up.

  5. i had mine stretched to 1/2″ and i took it out for less than a year and it closed to like 0G

  6. #8… there’s no way he could do it with the plug in and have it feel good. I mean, I wouldn’t masturbate with a plate!

  7. I wonder if it impairs his speech any. I mean some people, when they get just a regular tongue piercing and it swells, talk like idiots (myself included). I’d imagine you kinda get use to it, but WHO KNOWS! It’s also odd enough for myself licking like an ice cream cone with a tongue ring, let alone a tongue gauged that large… Very intriguing.

  8. its impressive nontheless. not very comfortable actually i would say..
love to see it split, but i think Michael wont split it:)

  9. Another ModBlog! You’re such a D.I.C.K. [crew] Bro…I love you! :p

Inspiring…it had to be you that makes me want to stretch my labret!

  10. This looks like a happy well healed piercing. I saw a smaller one in person with what looked like a wicked blow out. Not pretty.

I’d assume he can do things with his tongue pretty much the same as a person without the mod. The human body adapts very well.

  11. Kudos to you, sir. For some reason I cringe whenever I think of stretching a piercing near or in my mouth because of the crusties and the smell and such. Do you not get those with a tongue stretching?

  12. I don’t see how someone can NOT split their tongue.. best mod ever.. I wouldn’t put my tongue back together for any amount of money. (Well, if they offered me a million dollars, I’d put it back together and then split it again!)
It is impressive its that big, but is it really that good of an idea… I can imagine taste would be affected, and that would suck.. I could barely talk with a 4ga tongue piercing (pre-split).
At least its healthy and healed. I wonder if he just stretched, or scalpelled along the way..
I wouldn’t do it but props to him for getting it healed nicely, and living with possible complications!

  14. I reckon its pretty cool. Looks awesome. Is it any sort of comfortable though, I wonder?

Im surprised it fits between his teeth? I don’t believe I could fit a 30mm plug and the sides of my tounge between my teeth. Supposed he’d have to have his tongue back most of the time?

  15. Sorry to use this for not photo comment related material, I made a mistake in my first post. I meant to reply to post #8 not #6. Sorry #6

  16. Well I can’t see why one would do this, but I guess someone has to be the one with the biggest tongue piercing ever no matter what.

Kudos to you, but I wouldn’t wanna be you the day you decide to take it out!

  18. You are simply amazing, you have the means to be different from everyone else out there, and your not scared to show that you are different.

You are a very good inspiration.

  19. I used to have a stretched tongue piercing. I got as far as 22mm before I made the decision to bifurcate my tongue, not believing that progression past 25mm would be possible as that was the biggest I’d seen at that point. In my case, the jewelery DID affect my speech and made eating difficult, problems that were instantly eliminated once I’d performed the split.

Michael, you’re a fucking legend! And a world record holder, surely?!

  20. I don’t understand why anyone would want to do something like that. I’m an avid body mods fan, have quite a few of my own, but that just looks silly. Silly in a “you won’t be taken seriously” kind of way. I bet you’re an awesome dude, but there’s absolutely no way that isn’t affecting your speech, and I wouldn’t be surprised if part of the time you actually had to keep your mouth open just because your tongue doesn’t fit in your mouth right. I think you should just remove the plug and let it close, or get it split. Yeah, in theory it’s badass because it’s something no one has done before (or, at least, not something many people have seen before) but sometimes things aren’t done because they’re just stupid, and I think this is one of those things. Still, kudos to you for going through with it, but I think you’re definitely better off without it.

I love the labret/medusa gauges. THOSE are awesome.

  21. I love tongue piercings, i have had my pierced 6 times in the past 10 years and currently just working on making my center piercing larger but no where near as large as this. I think this would be too intrusive to daily life, things like talking and eating would have to become difficult. Either way its you body and you can do as you wish, but I think this is just a tad too far.
