Downside-Up

It seems that every time we see Supa here, he’s come up with a suspension that is even more complex than the last.  As I’ve previously mentioned, Supa and the Kaptive8 Suspension Krew have been putting together “transformation” suspensions.  Using a fixed set of hook points, Supa moves from position to position, allowing his body to contort into every possible shape it can manage.  He’s becoming both a marionette and puppeteer.  Here’s his latest, using 6pts and moving through 15+ positions.

Be sure to visit the Kaptive8 Suspension Krew’s BME Gallery to see just how Supa managed to go from an invisible chair suspension, to an inverted lotus.

  1. I really am impressed by the last one. Really all of them are amazing. Supa is a beast. I’d love to see a video of how they move from one position to the next. Plus, I always smile when I notice his socks. Which he is wearing in every picture I think I’ve ever seen of him. :)
