IntoXiKate is a big fan of the resident evil series so she had tattoo artist Ivan Shamaro put together a mutated biohazard symbol.
She also has a pair of microdermals that you’ll have to skip ahead to see.
Happy V day everyone! It’s that time of year when the greeting card industry cranks into high gear, florists make a small fortune off the promise of eternal love, conveniently gift-wrapped in a big red bow and new year’s resolutions are shattered by heart shaped boxes full of bonbons. So to celebrate today is going to be full of hearts, flowers, and all sorts of lovey-dovey things, ranging from the traditional, to the very unconventional.
To start of we’ve got a heart-shaped dermal anchor project from Joeltron down at First Blood in Sydney.
If you look at the picture carefully after a few seconds you can see a phone in the background.

Back in August we saw a star shaped microdermal project by Chris Saint. Now in the past there’s been some criticism that multiple microdermal piercings in one spot will more than likely reject. It’s been over four months now and everything is healed up and doing great.
We’re 2 weeks away from Movember (or No Shave November if you prefer) so now’s the perfect time to start getting ready to send in those pictures of some fantastic facial hair. The question now is, does Joeltron‘s stretched lobes to septum ‘stache count?
Oh, and of course we can’t forget his implants, piercings, lip disc and his tattooed eyeball.
We’ve already had a BMEBoy today, so how about a BMEGirl. This on in particular has a healed microdermal on her chin that was put in by Arseniy Andersson. If you look close you can also see the implant she has on her chest.
A while back I featured a number of microdermal projects that were coming out of Europe. The idea is to create large designs using microdermals over the course of 1-2 sittings. Will Luterzo from Pleasurable Piercings in Hawthorne, NJ has started to do similar projects and here’s one of his creations.
Its tricky to see in the photo, but the 2 hearts have different colored gemstones, white for the large heart and pink for the smaller one.
What in the world can make a brown-eyed girl turn blue
When everything I’ll ever do I’ll do for you
And I go la la la la la
She’s got the look

Here’s what Abeegail has to say about her piercings: “The bloodwood plugs were made by Dustin at Omega. Mike French made the beautiful copper jewelry, and also did my third eye dermal.” Mike French works at Omega Red in Iowa.
What is it about cheek piercings that make people’s smiles seem bigger? What’s neat is that these aren’t actually cheek piercings; they’re microdermals put in by Joeltron. Joel just updated his BME gallery with a lot of his recent piercings, so head on over and check it out.
p.s. Sorry if the headline got your hopes up for a puppet related post.
