Spring is finally here though you wouldn’t know it where I live since the snowbanks are all over 6 feet high. This beautiful piece by Platon Sosnitsyi, from Kipod in Israel, makes me hopeful that we will actually see green around these parts again. I love the way that hummingbird pops and depth in the flowers. It makes me ache for some new ink. And for summer!

Here’s another Jackie Rabbit piece to kick off your Wednesday morning. What I like most about this is that it isn’t a “standard” koi piece. Instead of the koi being front and center as the primary focus, Jackie has made it part of an elegant scene. The ripples flowing outward across the pond are a fantastic touch, as is the large negative space on the left side. The whole design has a flow to it that defies the asymmetrical nature of the image and her color selection is fantastic. Drop dead gorgeous, sultry, off the charts sexy.. these are just a few of the phrases I’d use to describe Bradde. He exudes raw animalistic sex appeal. He’s also a hell of a guy and makes a mean chili. That lucky lady on his arm is Bethany. She’s used to everyone being jealous of her, so it’s ok to admit it here. She was the one that beat back the thousands to win Bradde’s heart, and the two of them make a power couple the world has never seen before. If you get a chance to check out one of the Mercury Suspension Team‘s shows, you’re in for a treat as these two put on quite a show.
Last week, we saw Deluxe Tattoo‘s Tim Biedron’s grisly barnyard zombie torture porn romp, but this time around, things are a little more wholesome. This lovely backpiece comes to us from Ioreth, who spent days hours sitting for Batoon at Azazel Studio in Milanówek, Poland, to bring this to fruition. Are those wolf eyes underneath? Some sort of tree marsupial? Perhaps a vampire? Some mysteries aren’t meant to be solved.
