EA / Electronic Arts tattoo

Just got this amusing email from Chris:

This is a picture of me when I got Electronics Art tattoo back in March. The company paid for it and took some footage of it and me for possible use in a game at some later point but I haven't heard back from them since. No regrets though. I love gaming and I love EA games. They make some of my favorite racing games ever (NFSU and Burnout), so why not have a special place for them on my back?

PS. More geek tattoos here.

I just got a VW symbol inked yesterday on my calf. Same thing I guess, I love the brand (for the old skool air cooled side), and wanted to express my love. The company didn’t pay for it though….

That’s awesome. But one question… did you have to hold your gorilla down for the procedure, or did he quietly let you shave and ink him?

Seriously, if you are into body modifications, I have a couple initial thoughts for you:

    1. Slimfast
    2. Laser Hair Removal

Because apparently everyone into body modification has to look like a model.

    Teiris,

Not “EVERYONE.” I exempt certain groups from the “mods for hot bods” only rule, including:

Anyone who has seen “A Man Called Horse”,
    Registered Republicans,
Jared, the guy from the Subway commercials,
    and Canadians

And hairy fatty, puh-leaze! Like anything is going to take away anonymous posting except comment spam.

Which reminds me to tell you to visit partypoker.com, although on this site the name might take on an entirely different meaning.

    Cheers,

Basil, please stop ruining it for other people. Don’t get cocky and think the anonymous posting will stay whatever you say.

I’d like to thank glider for keeping it in place, as otherwise I would just have to sit here and think to myself!

And, all for body mods and body mods for all!

I have a hate-on for EA right now, but I hope this guy isn’t having the same problems me and thousands of other are. EA likes to gobble up small companies and then shit them out. It’s kinda their hobby. =P

Basil, don’t be a cock. What you said is just plain rude and where I come from it would get you a punch in the face.

Let’s all give him attention so that he never leaves.

Ignore him, he wouldn’t have said it if he thought it wasn’t going to cause controversy

I do love all of you, and your unlimited capacity to not appreciate jokes.

“Ruining it for other people”? Are you serious? Remove the figurative pole from your ass… go ahead and keep the literal one.

I don’t care what you do, where you do it, and least of all why. Just stop being so sensitive and defensive.

As for Canadians, you are a great nation of people and I salute you… except the ones who only speak French.

EA didn’t even make Burnout they just published it?

No, but they gobbled up the developer so they technically own the franchise now.

  3. I bet you feel pretty stupid now don’t you?

EA was ‘once’ a symbol that came with a good game. Now it is a symbol of all that is wrong with games.

    Whore of a company.
