More tattoo miscellany

Here you go:

The leftmost tattoo (“Hug O’ War …everyone wins”) makes me angry it’s so sickly sweet. Honestly, I’m not a violent guy in the least, but over-the-top cuteness has the opposite effect on me. Probably just more evidence to add to the growing pile that I am somewhat psychologically imbalanced? Tatoo by Ryan Zachary in Portland, OR (don’t blame him — it’s based on a Shel Silverstein drawing).

In the middle? I have no idea. Maybe someone reading this can post and say what it is… The tattoo itself is done by Danny at Jersey Devil at Blackhorse Pike, Blackwood, South Jersey.

And the vegan tattoo on the right (from the clothing catalog and magazine Herbivore) — “Praise Seitan” — was done at BodyTech in Gainesville, Florida. Anyway, since I recently mentioned a “miso tattoo” and was greeted with a “WTF IS MISO” response, here’s some info on what seitan is.

  1. this is kinda old, but i wantedto post as i was looking through here any way, the guy in the middle is based off of drawing by ed templton, a professional skater who i believe now skates for the toy machine skateboard company. just google toy machine and you’ll find more of hist art, and this guy among other things that he’s put on his boards.

  2. It’s a drawing by pro skater/artist Ed Templeton, a logo for the skateboard company Toy Machine.

  3. I know what you mean about the one on the left…..sickening! But I like the one on the right, I just learned what seitan is and it made me laugh.
