Wahconah Falls Suspension

Thank you to The Spic for sending me these wonderful photos of a two-point (locking hooks for safety) suicide-style suspension in Wahconah Falls in Dalton, MA. This was facilitated by Rites of Passage. Click the picture for a closer view.

PS. I’m back! But as you may have read on my other blog, I’m going through some mental crap right now, so some days you might be without posts. Sorry, I’m doing my best!

Don’t worry Shannon, your own health is more important than posting here! I hope you can move to a better place within yourself

Your health and well being are most important, so don’t concern yourself, or feel any guilt or worry about this. While this community is obviously very important to us, you are too, and you come first, so take care.

Shannon- As someone you have never met and may never meet, I just wanted to tell you that you are a person who has challenged me to think in new ways. I’m praying for you as you work through this difficult time. Even though I’m a stranger (and a Christian, for that matter) I hope that you can be encouraged in some way by that.

That is the most amazing and beautiful picture ever. That’s how I would like to hang for my first time.

    And Shannon, take care :]

    Shannon,
We’ve never met, but I want to say that I hope you find the happiness you deserve. I think that many of us have had similar experiences and know how difficult it can be to find a better place in your mind. I also want to say that it takes an incredibly courageous person, especially a public figure like yourself, to admit to one’s self and others that you are going through a tough time and need help. I hope that your passage through this hardship goes with ease and I have a great deal of respect for your courage.

That is the most stunning location for a suspension I’ve ever seen.

And Shannon, I’d like to echo all of the other admirers of bmezine in wishing you well (and being able to relate, unfortunately). What you have done and continue to do means so much to so many… some postless days most certainly isn’t the end of the world!
