C/O Valnei, I think this may be the very first time I’ve seen a female calf suspension (it’s not that common and can be quite painful). I might be wrong though? More pictures: ONE TWO THREE.

i’ve seen one before (female calf suspension) and i’m not surprised that it’s not common. are there more male calf suspensions? would there be any particular reason more men than women go up that way?

If that photo is any documentation, there’s a reason. I’ve seen a lot of suspension photos but never one where the participant looked quite as unhappy :/

There is always that element in suspension, its not just a fun little swing, and it doesnt have to be a happy experience for it to be worthwhile for some people.

psyentific – Really? We thought the opposite; Phil and I thought she looked quite comfortable.
re: why? – I don’t think they’re common for either men or women. One reason some people do them is the idea of putting hooks in the knees freaks some people out.

Shannon… it’s in her face. A lot of the other suspension photos you post feature people with ectasy written all over them. In this photo due partly to the redness (which I don’t think you can really hold against anyone doing this suspension) but also do to the tenseness in the face and how she looks like she’s crying it just doesn’t look like she’s having a good time.

I can’t imagine anyone being comfortable with that amount of blood rushing to their head :S.

she looks fine..doesn’t look like she’s in pain…look at the first photo linked…she’s swinging around having a good ol time.

I know Naya, the girl of the photo and they can assure that she DOES NOT SUFFER. Yes she takes the red face as the position in which she is, assurance I go several like that minutes and because she is of the north of Brazil it should been hot there, but ellla happy this one!
