Lionel / Out of Step

Have I mentioned before how much I like Lionel from Out of Step‘s tattoo work? Yeah, I know I have, and I know I have probably enough times that you’re bored. When I’ve posted it in the past, people have been sort of split on whether it’s good childlike or bad childlike — my vote’s definitely in the “good” category.

  1. They are not the kind of tattoos I would want on me but I still think that they are really kick ass.

  2. i like it, but in this style, i prefer Noon’s work more. it would be great if some of these french artists could make it over to the americas to do some work.

  3. his work is in the top 5 of my favorite tattoo art ever.
i love it when you post his stuff

  4. The ‘shadowing’ on the cat makes me wonder.. Would it be possible to make a 3D tattoo using the old children’s colouring book, red line – blue line, method?? (With the awesome glasses aswell of course)

  5. his tattoos are allways a kick in the eye :)

glad, i got a deer from him :-P

as i heard, yann is going to move to canada.
i sadly missed the opertunity to get ink from him,
now he’s far away over the sea…

  6. KYA! I know the pretty owner of the fat cat too ^o^
I really like the work of Lionel and I hope to see more of it soon (and maybe on Nya again…)

  7. If I were to get a tattoo, I’d get it in this style. I like the images over at yourmeatismine, too.

  8. i like the art alot. it does feel a little just like voluntering to be a canvas for someone rather than being active in the tattoo process. i mean some of the stuff is pretty out there. as in the tattooist draws it and just pitches it to various customers. i like em, its just different .
