I Tried to Save the Old Pail

This backside-piece made the long trip from Japan, bravely avoiding raccoons, herons, common housecats and a recession in which people can no longer afford to build backyard ponds. Glad you could make it.

  1. nice work! love koi tattoos. kinda sucks it will be covered up so much and people wont get to see in on the street.

  2. if i was the owner of this tattoo i would walk around butt nacked all the time…winter cold or summer hot xD now that’s an ass to be proud of…

  3. Yeah, I was wondering that too. Did he want to sit on fish for the rest of his life?

    Gorgeous tattoo, though.

  4. I think the placement suits the artwork perfectly, its just a shame few people will get to see it DX but I guess that is what modblog is for ;)

  5. I agree with the other comments, it’s such an amazing piece that it seems a shame so few people will see it. That doesn’t detract from the beauty, though. It’s making me want to plan a holiday in Japan…

  6. Really whenever I see these tattoos I always just stare at them thinking how my tattoo artist would never let me live it down if he had to spread my cheeks for him to finish a tattoo. Great work though.
