  1. I never even noticed that those existed! I always play around in my mouth with my tongue too!

I have those webbings, but mine don’t feel as prominent. I’ll have to check in the mirror later.

  2. 🙂
i don’t know is it normal or not, but i think if you pull a bit your lip away from teeth you will find something where to pierce…
i am so glad i made it 🙂

  3. haha, as soon as I saw these pictures I started sticking my fingers in my mouth to feel for that webbing, then ran off to the mirror. Mine’s hardly there 🙁

her smileys are really cute though!

  4. hell yes i have those little webbings, I feel so special! Awesome piercings, they look great

  5. those are called Frenula, people have them to varying degrees in the same general vicinities. My main concern is the fact that the metal is going to wear away the enamel on her teeth, she needs to be cautious. I don’t want to sound like a frumpy medical guy who is opposed to all body piercings, I just don’t want her jewelry to spoil her beautiful smile.
At the least, I hope she can switch those to plastic ones.

  6. jewelery were chosen as small as possible. i know there is smaller rings but it hard to work with them and these are nearly touching teeth
it is good idea to switch those to plastic ones

  7. lol to #14.
As soon as I saw this pic, I started poking around, and went to look in the mirror… I don’t have those. 🙁

  8. I have a regular smiley, but I really like the look of this!

I’ve got side webbings…I may have to call my piercer haha

  9. me too, like chelsea, only on the right side…huahauha so interactive! everybody checking their webs huahuaua.. if i had both of them i would run to get myself some piercings! its really cute!!

  10. Plastic is still harder than her gums and will wear away at them, just to those who said she should switch to plastic jewelry. High quality plastic jewelry doesn’t really exist, but hopefully the steel or ti in these piercings is high quality and doesn’t irritate the fistula of her piercings!

All that being said, I don’t have the side frenula either, but these are WAY cuter than a standard smiley piercing I think!

  11. Awesomeeee
I do have the side frenula, and I have a regular smiley already so maybe this is going to be my next project… :-)))))

We should pierce all our FUD patients with those piercings and then do some ball and socket retainers on the labial flanges., amirite?
