When there’s snow on the ground and the sun is in the sky, it’s time for some winter fun. With this being a ModBlog post, you can be sure that there won’t be any pictures of some kids tobogganing down a hill, or making a snowman. No, this post is all about the kind of fun that involves needles, hooks, tech-12, and possibly some blood. Now outdoor suspensions are always dependent on the weather, but when the thermometer drops, most people pack it in for the day. Not so for the Escape Suspension team and IAM: sugarNspice up in Grand Rapids, MI. They braved the 22 degrees fahrenheit cold and winds up to 30mph to show that just because it’s the winter doesn’t mean they’re going to stay inside.
We’ve got one more photo from the suspension to share so keep on reading.
I’ll be the first to admit I got shivers looking at these photos, but they went away the moment I saw just how excited sugarNspice was to be up in the air.
She actually sent in a number of photos from her suspension, which you can see in the suicide suspension gallery.
yay jennica!! i’m sad i had to work and couldnt make it :(
I love these crazy folks!!! it was cold as hell!! Jenica & R rock!!
Oh Bradde…it wasn’t that bad. :) ha! I kinda thought you’d be up there too in your man thong.
Thanks Bradde. Yeah the adrenaline and endorphins helped with the cold while in the air. It was very interesting seeing how once up I really didn’t notice it anymore. That makes sense though.
