We had planned on having an at home assisted delivery with our Midwife Meg, but our son had other plans. The time between the water breaking and his actually delivery was less than a minute and a half. Basically she pushed and I caught..lol we made our call to 911 and I tied and cut the cord myself. A little later emts arrived and wanted us to go to the hospital , which was completely contrary to what we had planned. so we waited on the midwife to show. Our son Wyatt Danger Ross was born at about 11:30 at night with no complications and is healthy and doing fine. in waterloo ny these are pics of myself (iam dtm) and my wife (iam bribri) with our daughter Rowen lily .  On March 11th we actually delivered our son ourselves. Congrats Dotty!

This stunning photo shows Dotty at 29 weeks pregnant. A few weeks later Talina was born (on March 30th at 12:59 AM), after 21 hours of labor. She was 10 pounds 9 ounces, and 22 inches long.

A Haircut and a Shave

Oh Jesus Christ this is cute. Prolific ModBlog commenter Goldust of St. Petersburg, Russia, sends in this photo of his friend Alexander and the man’s son, Ivan—”two tough guys,” Goldust says. We don’t mean to over-share or anything, ModBloggers, but we’re pretty sure this picture just made us start ovulating.

Kissing A Mirror

Greetings, ModBloggers! Hope the weekend found you all well and safely out of reach of the raging death-bolts of any and all Armageddon-esque lightning storms. Let’s start our time back together with the calm, well, after the storm, I guess—this heart-stompingly sweet photo of Raldy and his and betrue‘s adorable new addition, Clara, spending some quality time together at home in São Paulo, Brazil.

And so begins another week together, dear readers. Let’s get off on the good foot. I’ll buy you a taco. If we’re lucky, we may even hit the city.

Tattoo Hollywood, BME’s first tattoo convention, is coming to Los Angeles from August 21-23, featuring contests, prizes and some of the best artists from around the world! Click here for more information.

Each Trip’s a Trip to Paradise

Can we get real for a second, ModBloggers? Because here’s some truth: Beneath our rough, rugged, defiant exteriors…we here at BME are still absolute suckers for baby pictures like this. This photo is like a meteorite to the heart. Pictured is Amber, moments after her daughter, Rain, was born. I think I just started ovulating.

Run Into His Arms

Well hey, it’s new (and tattooed) daddy Zach with number-one son, Cash Randall, of whom he seems so proud, he’s just gonna put him up on the mantle for all to see. Seems like as good a place as any.

More shots of father and son, after the jump.

I Walk Around Somehow

I have nothing to say about this picture, because I am dead. I am dead, and this picture killed me. I’ll let the new father take it from here:

Grahm Brian Clemmer, born 1:51 a.m., March 17, 2009. This was right after delivery. I got this tattoo well before my son was born. I wanted him to know that I would always be there for him.

You Know More Than You Think You Do

Quite the murderer’s row of babies on the old ModBlog lately, no? First we had last week’s Smurficide, and now Back Sass Jezebel‘s stunning little Dahlia Grace here just made my heart explode. Good grief. It just got a little dusty here at the office.

(“My little girl loves her daddy,” says the new mama, and those would be daddy’s hands, with tattoo work by Tom at Inksanity in Somerset, New Jersey.)

Eh, Maybe Texas

Burgh heard the screams, the cries, and before he ever saw it, he knew exactly what had happened. He ran out into the backyard and there it was: His daughter, Sophie, on her first birthday, had killed and eaten a Smurf. Look at that face, that uninhibited bloodlust. Why? Who knows why. Sophie’s not talking. And not a jury in the world is going to convict a baby.
