This portrait of the client’s dog is a work in progress by Justin the Blood at In the Blood Tattoos and Rock N’Roll in Pittsburgh, PA. Oh, and am I crazy in thinking that he looks a little like a meaner, tattooed version of Spencer Rice (as in the “nice guy” from Kenny Vs. Spenny)?

If you like stuff all about dogs, lots of people have tattooed their best friends, like Eddie, Binky, and Pee Wee Martini, or this beagle, another beagle, a curious Dachsund, a Shar-pei, and this Boston terrier. There’s also fictional dogs like Toto, Dogbert, Bebe Dog, and Clarus the Dogcow. Not into tattoos? There’s also dog scars and dog scar portraits, as well as suspending over dogs, a dog riding a suspension, a dog lifted by suspension old tattooed dogs, new tattooed dogs, pierced dogs, and even dog shocker collars!

Beat that, cat people.

How appropriate! (“Vida” means “life”). Joao sends in this picture of his tattooed hand (by Anderson at Outlaws Tattoo in Petropolis, RJ, Brasil) with his eight month pregnant sister.

Anyway, there should be a nice big BME update (starting work on that shortly with Phil) that’ll get posted tomorrow, but ModBlog is done until Moday or Tuesday… See you then! Hope it stays online — it’s getting linked like crazy because of the wristwatch piercing.

Thanksgiving

Shadowsoldier‘s ears are fun for the whole family, with mom on the left and grandma on the right. She writes, “notice the disgust on my moms face and how interested my grandma looks!”

That’s good, because the last thing my grandmother said to me about my mother kicking me out of the house because of how I looked (long, long ago of course) was “well look at you — how do you expect us to treat you” or something like that.
