syx is a graduate of the university of windsor b.f.a. program with a major in photography. aside from the darkroom he experiments with computer manipulation and graphic design. his work has been published in various magazines, including a local book "windsor salt" which features local windsor artists of all different types of media and in issue #24 of skin two.

currently specializing in studio fetish, bondage, and fashion photography he is branching out and experimenting with street photography, commercial photography and even weddings (for the more untraditional look).

his influences include the staples: kern, krool, kloster, dahmane and sieff.

he continually looks to body modification for inspiration in his work. being the owner and operator of skewskin in windsor, ontario, canada, he is privileged to have the opportunity and the population to help continue his work, making it ever changing and never ending.
