Castration: No Valid Reasons?
Some males have a fixation, complex, or syndrome where they desire to be
castrated for no rational reason. They may voice fear of prostate cancer
or a wish to become celibate or a feeling of being out of control of their
lives due to a obsessive sex drive.
There are several characteristics of males having this castration fixation
that serve as predictors of their eventual castration. A male having this
fixation who will probably castrate himself if not castrated by another
has several of the following characteristics:
- A very long term fixation or obsession with being castrated, usually
since puberty.
- No desire to change sex
- Usually submissive in nature, whether straight or gay
- Increasingly damaging acts done to the genitals during sex, often
involving piercing with needles, cutting open the scrotum, and crushing
the testicles
- Actively seeking information on the after effects of castration and methods
of castration as well as persons who can do castration
- Purchasing castration equipment such as clamp emasculators and elastrators
Males who fit all of the above characteristics will probably castrate
themselves
or attempt to do so. If an invasive method is chosen, there is a high risk
that
the male doing this will end up in emergency care. If he chooses a noninvasive
method such as a clamp emasculator, this is no guarantee he will succeed
without injury. It is exceedingly difficult to castrate oneself using a clamp
emasculator, as any male has a lifelong aversion to testicular pain and he
tends to close the handles of the clamp emasculator, usually a Burdizzo
style device, slowly so as to become accustomed to the pain. This usually
results in plastic deforming of the testicular cords with resulting bruising
and often internal bleeding. Done quickly and with force, closing of the
handles of the device results in a successful and relatively painless
castration. The pain of the crushing jaws on the testicle cords is sharp
but of short duration. Recovery is usually fast and without incident.
Males who have a castration fixation or complex may seek psychiatric therapy
as advised by friends or by himself. This may work to delay his castration,
sometimes for years. It may also separate those males for whom castration
is a temporary long term fantasy from those for whom it is a more definite
and permanent complex. Therapy often results in no more answers as to
why the male has this fixation, only more inadequate reasons. The male
remains unsatisfied with his body and his life. If he achieves castration,
he is usually satisfied with being a eunuch and his fixation is satisfied.
Case studies of males who have been castrated voluntarily and who fit
the above profile show they are happy and well adjusted with their
chosen lifestyle, regardless of whether or not they choose to use
male hormone therapy to maintain an active sex life.
If you feel you fit this profile, I can discuss with you all the information
I have available, whether your desire for castration is one that is likely
to result in action on your part, and finally, how to achieve what you
want.
