I am a twenty year old who has no idea what to do in life besides live it. I am interested in many different things, am open minded about anything that comes my way, and I love tattoos and body modifications. I am trying to learn how to tattoo (among other things), and I love to cook.
I had been toying with the idea of making my tongue longer. At first I didn't think it was something that was done a lot. My goal was to be able to lick my own eye &mdsah; after a lot of thinking about the idea, I started asking around to find someone who would do it for me. After talking to one of my friend's roommates I found out that he could remove the webbing under my tongue to make it a little longer. He said it still wouldn't be able to reach my eye, but it would be one step closer! I took that into consideration, and after a
while I said what the hell and asked him to do it. He said ok and we set a date.
I called him up to see if he was home to do it. He was so I went on over to his place. It was Halloween night. I went over to his house and he got out his "box o' tools" and told me to go sit on the gyno table. I was kind of having those second thoughts but they passed quickly. He came over and asked me to open wide and lift up my tongue.
After looking at it a bit then he said ok, are you ready?
"Let's do it."
He got out the clamps and set them in place... lemme tell ya — the clamps hurt more than the scalpel! He began to cut into my tongue webbing... it didn't hurt, it just felt really weird! The cutting didn't take long, and I didn't bleed much. Once he was done he told me to go rinse it then suck on some ice. Man, the ice friggin' hurt! I'm not sure, why but it did... but now I had a longer tongue!
Aftercare was just a bunch of cleaning the mouth and not moving my tongue much at
first. Then I had to stretch it out and play with it a lot so it wouldn't heal back up. There were no complications with it at all, and it wasn't ever painful. Now it is completely healed and it's kinda fun.
I love the end resulsts. My tongue is longer and I have more mobility. I am thinking of getting it cut farther back so I can lick my eye, but we will see what happens. If anyone is thinking about getting it done I would recommend it...
