Nekromantik Tribute Tattoo

When I was in high school (I think I graduated in ’91 to put it into context… I’m getting old!), these were my favorite movies:

  • Pump Up The Volume
  • Suburbia (1984)
  • Heathers
  • Harold and Maude
  • Nekromantik
  • Der Todesking

On account of the last two, I was quite pleased to see this tribute to Nekromantik by Bud at Evil or Sacred Tattoo in Los Angeles. I know that only a few people will probably appreciate this piece because the movie is somewhat obscure… The wearer tells me they’re planning a second Nekromantik-themed tattoo soon as well.

  1. somebody should totally do a pump up the volume tattoo lol i think the part where he’s on the jeep and the FCC guy ripes his cords out, that look on his face is priceless.

thanks, i know what movie i’ll be watching tonight lmao

  2. Nekromantik rocks!
and Nekromantik 2 was pretty cool too.

I still have the around in a couple cd´s and lend it to friends every now and then. I haven´t found anyone who could watch it all the way till the end.

  3. Nekromantik is an awesome film, the tattoo looks a little lost, placement wise…why is it just floating on his side? The feet on the woman are a bit odd too…

  4. That tattoo is amazing, just like the movie!
Startet to like it when I was about twelve I think. Now, four years later, it’s still one of my favourites!

  5. Nice ink. Nekromantic was certainly a film, not sure if it was good though! I just hope no-one gets a tat of the climax that film eh Shannon!
