In the past I’ve mentioned the navel piercing at age 75 and the hundredth birthday ear piercing, so when I saw this I knew I had to include it as well. This picture below is Toddy‘s 78 year old grandmother. The tattoo is of her old toy lamb, and it’s her first tattoo! I love it!

My grampa and gramma started getting their tatttoes at the age of 60.. he has about 7 now.. and she has 3.
they both rock. & so does that lady.

That is really sweet and wonderful. I love that this takes two misconceptions about getting older and blows them out of the water. one, that we grow up(and more specifically away from loving our childhood toys) and two, that tattoos are only for ‘the young’. made me smile and I love the tattoo as well.
