Life is a Defective Maze

If I’m understanding the message correctly (there’s a bit of a language barrier), the broken circle represents the human being, and the maze within the human represents the meaning of life… the maze however, as life, is a defective maze. This was done by Hata at InkRatTattoo in Tokyo, Japan.

  1. this is the kinda design i wish i thought of :P
i wonder what the big gap at the top represents…
looks good and makes you think(in good ways)

  2. Hahaha I was thinking the same thing Cam!

I wonder how many times in his life he’s going to get drun with some friends and they’ll solve the maze in marker pen on his back.

  3. i think that this maze is impossible to solve. starting from the left side it looks like you could get stuck. otherwise, the lines are close. it is a cool idea though

  4. My first thought was about friends and markers, too. I wonder if that’s a comment on the type of friends I have? Great tattoo, and idea, though.

  5. The incomplete circle is for you to find out what (in these case) life is, if its a full circle there will be no will in searching, because you will know the end, but in these case, since the ciurcle is not complete, its your tas to complete it.

  6. wow, I’m suprised to see a submission done by Hata! He does great work though he’s definately more famous for his colour american traditional stuff than his blackwork.
