This… is… Scarification!!!

There’s just some internet memes that are just too easy to use.  The “This is Sparta!” one, while long dead, still rears its ugly head from time to time, especially when you get a glimpse of something like this scarification piece that IAM: Eroswastika recently cut into one of his clients.

It’s hard to say if the owner of the scar is a fan of the comic or the film (or perhaps both), but it’s reasonable to assume he is a fan of Miller’s work.

In case you can’t tell by the photo, the scar is located on his bicep, right above the ditch.  You can get another look at it from a different angle by checking out the skin removal scarification gallery.

  1. Really, BME? 4 pages is all I get to see, even when I’m logged in?

Is there even a way to submit photos for BME access anymore?

  2. Wow, if I click it by link, I don’t even have access to see photos that I’ve uploaded? What the hell is this shit.

  3. Eep! The skin depth variation bothers me, but the small circles and ‘blood spatter’ seem well done. I had 54 punched 1.5mm circles in one of my sides and not a single one scarred. I would like to see this healed up.

  4. MAYBE SKIN TONE VARIATIONS ARE JUST THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE PICTURE AND THE RESPECTIVE LIGHTS / SHADOWS, RIGHT?

WELL, WE ALL HAVE DIFFERENT SKIN ERGO, HEALING AS WELL.

    VERY GOOD WORK!

  5. Tobias: That just sounds like somethings fucking up, I logged in to double check and its working fine for me without a subscription membership, simply a free one. Double check your logged in? *Shrug*

Thats one hell of a glorious cutting. Kudos to the artist.
