According to Ziztur, during Penn and Teller’s stage show in Vegas, Teller performs one of his signature tricks, the shadow rose. Here’s a quick youtube video of the trick to show you exactly what I’m talking about. Now when you combine roses, shadows, knives and blood, you’ve got the makings for a great tattoo design. Mark from Cheap Trx in St. Louis used this as his inspiration when he created this image for Ziztur.

Beautiful, and what a neat idea for a tattoo as well.
Yay! This pic was also taken when the tat was just a few hours old. 😀
This tattoo really appealed to me.
Very unique, I like this a lot.
Yay! I work with Mark, and he is really amazing! (I’m so proud of him- this is second modblog this year!) 😛
Great job Mark! It must be hard to be that creative when you work with Bunnie luvin dorks….. 😛
Looks cool…. but big. Ouch… I guess the thigh is not the most painful place, though.

I’ve seen the P&T show 3 or 4 times now, and I LOVE that routine.
Great art, and great idea, Ziztur.
Beauty, but ouchy…I want the number 33 tatted. But I’m a woos.
Oh my lord!
I would love a tat like that. A smashing tribute to the most beautiful act going.
Just wonderful…
Goddamn. Wish I’d thought of that one first!
