So, true story, I just found out 10 minutes ago that Mario’s Tanooki suit is actually based off of an actual animal. See kids, this is what happens when you grow up without wikipedia. Now this Tanooki suited Mario was done by Chris from Suicide Kings in Canton, MI

1-you get from the leaf which is super common 2-you get from the tanooki suit power up
Raccoon mario is the one pictured on the mario 3 game cartridge…its completely different, pointy ears and his plumber suit is still showing. Not the same.
