Wink wink

It’s not often we get to see eyelid sewing, mostly because of the risk factor, as well as the low level of submissions.  While lip sewing prevents a person from speaking, eyelid sewing moves into sensory deprivation territory.  Given that only one eye is done in this photo, it’s probably safe to assume that this was the person’s first time with the sewing and wanted to try one eye before moving on to both.

  1. I have to say that is awful suture technique. Look at the trauma done to this person’s eye and surrounding tissue. That could have been done a lot better with minimal trauma to the area. It is the type of incident that states (in the us) look for when drafting laws making surgical type body modification illegal.
