Encircled by the Flight of a Bird

Fans of artist Joan Miro will recognize this instantly.  Jamie from Tattoo Temple in Hong Kong has reproduced Miro’s “Woman Encircled by the Flight of a Bird” on this young man’s forearm.  By taking a look at the original, it’s safe to say Jamie definitely faithfully reproduced the painting even with the change in medium.

  1. Gotta say, that painting might not have translated into a tattoo very well. Just looks like a technicolor vomit really.

  2. re #2 – Sometimes, when it’s warranted. I tend to think the positive or neutral comments outweigh the negatives, but I haven’t really looked at the ratio. Could you do that for me, Spike? Since you care so much, I mean.

OH that’s right, we live in the Glee generation, where everything has to be peaches and cream and roses and chocolate-scented farts, where every comment absolutely must be positive and affirming and supportive. Well, in that case:

OMG! That is like totally the raddest tattoo I have ever seen in my entire life!
