Who says September 11th and the ongoing wars around the world aren’t linked? Dare you disagree with a tattoo? Those things are permanent you know.
The tattoo above is by Tank’s Tattoos in Detroit Lakes, MN, and the tattoo below is by Lord Dunce in Norwood, Mass.
As a point of trivia, I wanted to name Rachel and my daughter America, but she didn’t think it was quite as cool a name as Abbie Hoffman and I did apparently….
Heh, I can’t look at the bottom one without singing “Fuck yeah!!”. I blame your title, there.

I think you may have misworded your last sentence, Shannon. Well, or I simply misread it.
I think America sounds cooler, though I’d rather be named Abbie Hoffman. 🙂

He didn’t word the sentence wrong. Abbie Hoffman was an anti-war protestor/orgainzer, and he named his son America.

You’re right, he could just as easily be South American… Outside of the USA and large parts of Canada, “American” just means “from the Americas”, or at least it did in the past…

loving your country is something, attacking others is another thing
