Drunk Inking

I’ve commented in the past that I was going to get tattooed some time in Scotland because they let you drink beer while you’re having work done (or at least some people will)… Well, it seems like the Tiger Tattoo Bar in Pattaya, Thailand really must be part bar literally if the pictures of beer and cigarettes inside its walls aren’t misleading me.

He got stylized wings tattooed, and it looks like they turned out just fine (and arguably dramatically better than the average street tattoo in Thailand). Anyway, enjoy your weekend everyone — ModBlog returns next on Monday night.

In Australia, in particular near where I live, some tattooists drink beer/spirits/bourbon+coke while they’re working. While I’m not to keen on visiting one of these, (I wonder about the clarity of their mind when producing the artwork), the general consensus is that the tattooee is allowed to drink as well, but only if they have brought enough for everyone at the shop. Thankfully they draw the line at smoking in the shop….

Not that I’m a big fan of cigs, but I would much prefer that to having some drunk retard tattoo me… Gross negligance and irresponsibility, IMO

i don’t know, there’s a lot less outside contamination going into the work area if the artist is drinking rather than, you know, smoking. i’d prefer the rum and coke!

All of my artists here have let me drink or smoke. As long as they can work and I keep the consciousness it’s ok for them.
