  1. yeah that’s EXACTLY the song that got stuck in my head as soon as i started reading the 1 2 3..

    i like them though, i wonder if they could be used in any neat patterns to help with different forms of math

  3. It’s amazing that the psychedelic-pinball numbers song pops into my head more often then a lot of other songs. This isn’t the first time this has happened this month.

    I think I relate a lot of things to Sesame Street anyway since PBS was the only tv channel we had until late high school.

    Does anyone else remember an orange with a rubber-band mouth singing Carmen?

  4. I think the Count stuck with me more. First thing that pops into my head with Sesame Street and numbers is “One ah, ah, ah.. Two ah, ah, ah..”

  5. You have eight fingers and two thumbs. Thumbs do not count as Fingers. Why are the 1,5 6 and 10 on the wrong fingers.

    I’m sorry, who says he is ONLY allowed to be counting fingers? I’m guessing that the 6 is on the little finger because when you put your hands together palms up that’s the logical progression.

    I too wondered if there was a thumb for 10 (way too much time on BME)

    And yeah, I went there with the Sesame Street song too :)

  7. aaawww! i love that one! everytime im bored i draw little crosses on my handpalm at the end of every finger- then i show it to people claiming that this is the origin of my fingers *lol* its quite entertaining- but i like that one even more >_

    man they had that song on family guy and I’ve had it stuck in my head for weeks.

    i start counting parts and work and i use the same rhythm.my boss’s fucking love’s it i listen after work to see how many people picked it up.then they tell me they couldn’t sleep the night before cuz the song was in there head.Hahaha LOVE IT!
