I love the way this scarification — branding over a solid black tattoo — turned out. Another wonderful piece by Quentin at Kalima Modifications in Worthing, Sussex, UK.

That is amazing. Pretty brave too, it could’ve turned out badly.
Wow! I’ve always wondered how branding over black ink would turn out. That’s really nice.
I really love it. One of my favorite scars I’ve posted here for sure.
Its amazing how clear they are, I mean they look like they were just tattooed that way.
that looks incredible
So you’re saying something cool actually came out of Worthing? Well I never…
hahaha i hear you, fre_k.
so pretty!
i love it, it looks like they actually were tattooed like that. neat!
this is one of the most beautiful scarification pieces i have seen. thanks for posting this
Wow, at first sight I also thought that they were tattooed that way. I still can’t see it as a scarification
I think I’m gonna have to check into these guys and see what else they do…
its just amazing…
applause!
Quentin does great work.
Highly recommended for his scarification, branding and ritual approach to body mod. Even if he is based in Worthing…

That is the most gorgeous scarifications/tattoos I have ever seen. There’s not one thing about it that I dislike. The placement of the stars, the fact that they’re not all the same size…. wow!
hay this might sound stupid , but does branding over tattoos always take the ink out like that ? or was he just very lucky ? either way i think it turned out beautifull . also did the guy get the black work knowing he was gonna brand over it or was it just something he was stuck with and came up with one of the greatest ideas ever to fix it?
I was just wondering what a brand over my blackwork would look like. If I could get results like that, wow.
blah!! shave your legs lol cool tat and scar though
