Exposed Shoulder Musclulature Tattoo

Ian Mckown at Bound by Design in Denver, Colorado (who has great facial tattoos that I’ve posted here before) just did this nice shoulder tear-out piece. I should really add a section for just anatomical tattoos…

  1. Its great!
I love anatomical tattoos aswell more the muscular ones then the skeletal ones.. but this one is great and anatomically correct too!

  2. agree with #5, i’m a med student and i can say 100%sure that that tattoos’ not even close to being anatomicaly correct…..

  3. Posters #5 and #6
You are right as far as there is only one muscle in that location – the Deltoid muscle but its divided into parts
    Posterior Deltoid (Rear head)
    Middle Deltoid (Side head)
    Anterior Deltoid (Front head)

Im a med student too and i dont know what you’ve been studying but im currently studying Physiotherapy and work with muscles. And that ^^^^^ Is what they look like (maybe not so bright red but as far as position yeah) So yeah look up your Anatomy books and you’ll see im right.

  4. man you little madical people are fags for real. who cares if its right or not? this muscle is cool as hell!!
