More TeamBME members

On the left, fatal1ty from Russia, tattooed by anti_glam at Tattoo Dragon in Moscow, and on the right, yellowman from Canada, tattooed by Wendy Hollin at Darkside Tattoo and Piercing in Hamilton.

It’s really amazing how many people have BME tattoos these days! Even I do, although I’m sort of behind the times. It’s actually a kind of a neat — and weird — feeling looking at these tattoos and my tattoo at the same time, knowing that the same image (or the same idea?) is physically imprinted in each of the group.

  1. Shannon, since the last BME4LIFE post you made here on ModBlog I have added 4 new members to the Wiki. I gotta say it’s easier adding a few members here and there, than when I first made the page. Another interesting thing: since I first made the wiki page there have been 55 additions to the page. Either people I missed because they didn’t have the little icon or people that have recently gotten a logo.

  7. Its funny, I had my back piece for over a year before submitting n e pix. And after that, did not join TEAMBME for months after.

I think bme tattoos represent, to me atleast, represent the nature of our community – not our membership to it. If that makes any sense.

Either way. Its nice to see more good work around.

  9. It is a sweet logo, for sure. Seems as popular as the name fatal1ty.

There’s American gamer Jonathan Wendel who uses the name fatal1ty when he plays at LAN-party Quake tournaments, and there’s Aussie Call of Duty clan fatal1ty, and there’s this Russian chap with the BME logo going by the name fatal1ty…

Unfortunately Jonathan Wendel made it a registered trademark first.

  11. Wow that second one is the same logo in the same place as mine……although, I have to admit, his is done a bit cleaner.

  13. PS: I am not accussing the guy of stealing my tattoo, because I don’t know that I have posted it anywhere except maybe one diary entry. It’s a good place for the design and good ideas are commonly not original.
