Endorphins from cutting… literally

Prodigy got this very “appropriate to the artform” cutting — C158H251N39O46S — of the chemical formula for endorphins by CutThroat in Phoenex, AZ.

  1. Now I’m over seeing nice little boobieşcan we have this one followed up? a friend is concerned about getting a similarly-placed cut because she doesn’t know how her bra will effect it…

  2. Kind of a cool idea, except there is no such thing as ‘enorphine’…..the term applies to a class of molecules and includes several different ones. There is no formula for simply endorphine. Also empirical formulas in my experience are written CHONS then in alphabetical order. That last part I’m probably wrong about.

  3. Nice cutting. I like cutting. And pics of cuttings, especiely if it includes female nudity. :)

Now for earios, I’d really like to see some follow up pictures, because I wonder how such fine work would\will heal.

  4. H-Tyr-Gly-Gly-Phe-Met-Thr-Ser-Glu-Lys-Ser-Gln-Thr-Pro-Leu-Val-Thr-Leu-Phe-Lys-Asn-Ala-Ile-Ile-Lys-Asn-Ala-Tyr-Lys-Lys-Gly-Glu-OH

    I stand corrected

  5. Cute little perky boobies! haha

    Lovely cutting, as well.
Very painful place to be tattooed (well… It hurt when I was tattooed there, but I’m also a lot “larger” in the boobies area), however, definitely probably the best place for a mod, very sexy.

  6. That’s actually a cell phone pic. I think? I can’t remember.

I haven’t had a really good look at it since it was done. Just a peak under weird circumstances. Still legible.

I’m 99% sure that as I suspected her wearing a bra is keeping it from raising, but her other scars aren’t really raised either. So I guess it’s not that much of an issue.

She tried to get me to do that hexagon and lines representation of it (“it” is the human strand of beta-endorphin, btw), but it would have had to be like 6 feet long. Haha!

  7. well actually wouldn’t the endorphins that are released into the body upon cutting be the “literal” endorphins from cutting, and the characters on her body a figurative representation thereof?
