Wowzers!

I was recently introduced to the work of Amanda Wachob through Emi and I have to say, Amanda’s work is amazing!. Clean lines, interesting designs, bright colours. She is clearly very talented! But you don’t have to take my word for it.

  1. The finger tattoos are bloodlines, tattooed with distilled water instead of ink. I believe the idea is that the image will eventually fade and your body will absorb it, making it a truly temporarily and more personal experience.

  5. Megg, the work on her fingers is indeed tattoo work. Not sure on the process but The Dude seems to have a pretty good idea of what it most likely is. If you look at her online portfolio you can see more of the same work. Its just so lovely.

  17. I hope you realize the top one is a water tattoo, and what you see is just the skin reacting, After a week or so it will disappear, there’s some philosophy behind it, but regardless, it is not permanent. Her work is amazing though, and I wish you would post more of her abstract tattoos, which are my favorites.
