Three to one

Some of these photos should have been included yesterday with Supa’s 3pt transitional suspension, however they didn’t make it to the galleries until after the post went live.  So here’s part two of yesterday’s post.

As we saw earlier, the Kaptive8 Suspension Krew were testing out some new rigging with Supa hanging by three points; his lower back, the middle of his back, and the base of his skull.  What I incorrectly labeled as his final position was actually the mid point in the transformation.  Supa started vertically with his head on top, transitioned to a horizontal modified superman, and then finally ended up here, the complete inverse of his original position.

From there, he removed two of the hooks and finished up with a 1pt suspension from the back of his head.  Specifically the conjunction spot of his spine and skull right opposite his third eye.

Remember to keep in mind that Supa is continually pushing the boundaries of what the human body can do.  He’s extremely knowledgeable of what he does, and trains specifically for these unusual suspensions.  Do not attempt to copy any of his suspensions without extensive research, training, and the guidance of an experienced practitioner.
