  1. They look awesome, but, at least on the ones I’ve seen that have been close to finished the healing process, they seem to reject so easily. Leaves me wondering if there’s any way to have this be permanent.

  2. Smooth pic..just seems if ur really active in2 sports that thats a reall goood place for a mishap?

  3. I would love to have a handweb piercing, but unfortunately, the work that I do would not be kind to it. Working in warehouse would be a warzone for this type of piercing. Kudos to those who do it. 🙂

  4. I kept mine in for 6 weeks before i noticed a (very noticeable) sudden migration. Never really got it caught on anything, the only time it got in the way was lifting weights.

Hand piercings seem to really freak out the general public….I got a lot more “OMG DIDNT THAT HURT?!” than most people i know with facial piercings.

  5. I can’t even keep nail polish on for three hours without it getting dinged. I think I’m too active to even think about any kind of hand work.

  6. I had my webbing pierced between the pinky and ring finger. It started to reject after 4 months and lasted a total of 6. But I LOVED it. Had it redone and he hit a nerve so I couldn’t keep it. The reactions from people were priceless.

  7. I did one of these myself once, Ice an a needle. Then again I get rather bored and didn’t know it was an actual peircing. I kept mine in for a few days just to see what people would do at work. Was defently worth it to see the look on their faces :3

  8. I want one; but working in a cafe I can’t due to working in food prep and stuff. I doubt it would like washing up either xD
Kudos to those who heal them though.

  9. hmmm… that picture looks suspiciously like some piercing-unhappiness has been photoshopped out.

  10. When you get the hand web done in between the finger and the thumb. Does it hurt for a while and does it get infected real easy? Ive wanted mine done so bad now for the longest time. I hope I could keep it.

  11. I like this pic, I had mine done about two months now and its healing ok i think. I didnt think it hurt just a quick feeling but not pain. I have been soaking mine in salt water twice a day since i had it done and if i forget or am unable to and miss a couple then it gets a bit grrr but its soon normal again. I’m an art and photography student so its always in the way and even in normal life it does but its so worth it just to see the look on peoples faces! I have a friend who is a paramedic, you would think he would be imune but no he ran from the room almost! I am thinking of changing to a bar though as I keep catching the hoop which is painfull a little but its nothing really. Gloves are also slightly uncomfortable now too.

  12. GOT MY WEB DONE A WEEEK AGO AND IT IS SETTLING DOWN NOW. ANOTHER ONE TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION. HAD MY FIRST DONE OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO AND I STILL GET THE MAD URGE EVERY NOW AND THEN TO GET ANOTHER. THIS ONE WAS WORTH IT FOR THE REACTION OF OTHERS. AND YES IT HURT IN A NICE SORT OF WAY. BUT IS THAT WHAT ITS ALL ABOUT.WHO SAY’S YOU SHOULD GROW OLD GRACEFULY !!!
