I suppose I can see the navel piercings

Most of the pictures on BME of piercings are relatively documentary in nature — they’re shots of the piercing, rather than the person bearing it. But still, every once in a while folks send me photos that are more portraits of them than portraits of their body modifications. Here’s a few recent examples:

From left to right, here are the credits: 1. “Sensual Sorcery’s” piercings by Nick at Tribal Urge in Southsea, 2. Adry in Hungary’s navel piercing, 3. “Acid Angel” from Poland’s navel piercing, and 4. “Super Kug” in Germany also has a navel piercing.

I’m a female. I’m totally straight, yet I LOVE to look at female bodies. Women are so much prettier than men. Especially modded women. These pictures are so beautiful. Please post more. They are so gorgeous.

I’m curious – Shannon, do you have a preference as to whether photos are of piercings or of the person? I always crop in to just the piercing, largely because it makes it simpler to choose a category to put it in when submitting. I’d be perfectly happy to switch, although I’d have to spend yet more time staring at the form… (“well it’s got cartilage *and* lobe work… and my lip… and…”)

Maybe a “portraits” gallery? ;) heh

In general I prefer photos that are of the piercing itself, although I like it when people send both… But if they only send one, definitely the “piercing documentary” version is what BME needs.

maybe they’re hoping that their portrait-type picture will land them on the cover?
