4″ Long Tygon Bar

I’d worry that there could be some drainage issues with a piercing this long (that’s a long fistula to form), but at the same time, I have seen them heal at this length without abscessing or having other problems. This particular one is by Nickk Leading (of Perforations in Denver), done at a length of 4″ in 14ga tygon.

  1. my best friend’s girlfriend has had a surface piercing exactly like that for 1.5-2 years now. it’s not migrating at all, but it does randomly get angry and red looking. she heads back to our piercer periodically for a good deep cleaning that she can’t do as well on her own. i told her it’s fucking silly to have something that gets swollen and pissed off for its entire lifespan, but that’s because i prefer things that fully heal. silly me.

  3. How does a piercer push a needle through that much tissue without losing contact or going crooked? Would it be pierced and then pushed through with some sort of insertion taper?

  5. i’m willing to bet that it was a regular needle that was pushed through raised skin and travels through inconsistant layers. meh, who knows.

  7. a regular needle is 2″, it would be hard to pinch 4″ of skin less than 2″ apart and not go to deep, but you’re rght either way about the depth probably being inconsistant. but it’s still cool.

  9. its was a six inch fetish needle with a three inch tygon taper thats almost nine inches, its been almost a year and still there no rejection no migration no issues still comes and gets it changed when she is supposed to, everything seem fine. its still far from fully healed but it looks great and no problems.. about the depth your right it is hard to get it constant but with a steady hand and the right client you can get pretty close i will post more photos of it if you like
