  1. Ah I love the Chinese waving cats, it means good luck and friendship. Lots of people have them in house & shop windows to welcome people.

  2. actually, they’re japenese not chinese. supposedly right paw up attracts money, left paw up attracts customers.

    they are called maneki neko. personally i love them, and have one sitting on my bookshelf. you know, to hopefully bring in some cash. god knows i could use some cash.

    I have one also, im sat looking at it. I bought mine in a back street in Hong Kong, I always assumed they were Chinese, not Japnese, thankyou for the education :)

  7. those gatos feckin rock!!! i’ve been wanting to buy some ever since i saw them in the window of this asian themed store in town Portland, Maine… the cloud action is very appealing to my eyes as well as the vibrant colors… even though i might not be able to tell exactly what colors they are, due to my color blindness… oh well… me still likey
