  73. #26 actually the screenplay was mostly written by Douglas Adams, he was VERY much involved until his death. He even wrote the part for John Malkovich, FOR him… Garth Jennings was the director, he’s british…

    I love how people always try and compare movies to books, and then say the movie was bad because it wasn’t just like the book. It’s a movie, it’s gonna be different. I thought the movie was brilliant!

  77. i thought the movie failed to capture much of the wackiness that the book contained. it followed the book step by step, but it omitted a lot of dialogue and narration that gave the book its charm.
