  1. Shannon, it would seem that as well as being an IAM member, one also has to be a professional piercer to visit this forum.. :/

  2. Can’t imagine thats overly comfortable to lie down on, even once healed. Still looks really interesting, I like the idea of the constellation….

  3. Very nice!! Inspiration for a new way to permanently place constellations on my body. Which constellation is it? Doesn’t look familiar…

  4. I’m pretty sure it’s Cassiopeia. And I think it looks fantastic with the tattoo. Kind of stands out and blends in at the same time. I hope he doesn’t have any trouble keeping these!

  5. Very nicely done! i really like how the “stars” are at the points of the tattoo.

Ever since dermal anchors became a viable reality and more readily available, i’ve thought of something like this for a Pisces constellation on my upper arm. i have the Pisces constellation branded and tattooed on my back already. The only problem is, Pisces has 18 stars; that’s a lot of holes to punch!

i can’t wait to see this when it is healed. Nice!

  6. Thankyou for the kind comments. The microdermals were performed at Newcastle Tattoo Convention last month. Normaly I would only perform 3x microdermals in any one sitting. However Kam is the world record holder for most piercings received in any one sitting, his total was 1015 piercings in 7 hours 55min. I have since heard that all seven MDIs have fully healed without any drama.

As for constellations, we discussed where we could place them and decided upon the points of his facial tattoo, I have no idea if the tattoo represents a constellation or not.

I am sure that Kam will add to his collection courtesy of his regular piercer Charlie Wilson at Sunderland Body Art, I am awaiting photos of them healed.
