Tattooed Branding

Tony Powers, one of the few tattoo artists also doing scarification, did this tattoo over a strike branding… Because of the very traditional design I imagine it makes an interesting impact because at first people write it off as “boring” but then all of a sudden realize they’re looking at something “more”.

  13. i think the aesthetic of both them together just kinda makes everything pop a bit. the brand and tattoo apart would just be boring but together I love this.

  27. I really enjoy most of the things posted here, but I don’t care for this at all. I like both of them separate, but together they just seem like a bit too much is going on.

    But to each his own, it’s not my body. ^_^

  45. I have always loved scars+tattoos together, and this is no exception. The scar alone looks pretty cool, but the mix is just awesome.
