Arms and the man

Taking a quick look below, you can see the arms.  Vincent Hocquet is the man.  The man has a BME portfolio gallery that is filled with incredible geometric tattoos.

The fact that it’s all dotwork was enough to fry my brain.  I can barely draw a straight line.  Imagine creating these intricate figures using dots!

  1. About ten years ago, I was in a science camp at the local university. One of the programs we worked with in Basic generated fractals dot dot using some quasi random function. His choice of all dotwork makes perfect sense to me.

  2. I’m an artist, and when I do this with micron pen it’s called stippling… I assume it’s the same for tattoos. It takes forever, but usually produces pretty awesome results.
