It’s like I can’t resist or something

I swear that when I’m processing the picture (and I’m a total sucker for resurrection suspension in general), in the case of many of the people who tend to repeat here, if their face or a tattoo I remember isn’t in the photo, I am unaware who it is until I get to writing the entry (at which point I look at the email itself)… Namesofthedead, photo by Magician, facilitated by Constant Elevation at House of Wah in London, UK.

  1. i think i must be really slow or sumthing, cuz for a few seconds i thought that they actually had MODBLOG painted on they’re wall! but the picture has an amazing artistic touch to it!

  2. Sometimes I think that’s the only reason Shannon post so much, just to see how many different ways he can throw the ModBlog tag in there. Haha.

But I love this pic though.

  3. Is it only me who thinks there’s something strange about doing a suspension in a *kitchen*?;p

  4. It’s not a kitchen… it’s a piercing room… the stuff in the BG is cleaning-type stuff! What, you would’t want Trigene & paper towels on hand? ;o)

  5. i have that same autoclave.. :) i look @ this pic and i’m like, “damn that’s feckin’ HOT!!” i’m also drawn to the solid blackwork on her arm mostly cause i’m doing something similar… i

  6. Heh, Ben is cooking something special in this “kitchen” :p
Seriously, I don’t know how you could think this was a kitchen though?

  7. Amazing picture, I love the way the photo looks really gritty, like it’s taking place in a squat or something…

  8. Resurrection suspensions always awe me – they look more painful and more beautiful than any other type.

  9. I`d say, they indeed they look beautiful (and certainly not painful). My favourite style – I fell for them at first sighting a picture.
Bad thing about them is that this are deceiving. They ARE painful. But worth it.
And every time I see one pictured here, my heart jumps and I want to do it again.

  10. i do believe that’s a “Fuck… i’m dead” patch, i have a few home screened patches just like that :)
