Blackwork Turtleneck

I’m really liking Trystan‘s new blackwork neck tattoo with gray flowers, done pretty quickly over about two and a half hours by Paul Wren at Th-inker Tattoo in Melbourne, Florida.

  1. I’ve always had a thing for ‘negative’ (colored) tattoos. And this fits right in there.

Part of me thinks he should continue the black down to cover his shoulders and really meet the chest tattoo.

  2. fucking awesome! this may be my favourite neck piece ever. and to kat #13, you must have never heard of the melbourne shuffle or computer hacking

  3. haha really nice. ive met this dude a few times. ask him to put his dread into his nostril haha.

  4. only 2 and half hours for that
OH MY SATAN THATS RIDICULOUSLY FAST(for as solid as it looks)
the quality on that is simply amazing i wonder how solid the neck is actually going to heal though

  5. I saw this in the galleries and hoped it would make it here, this is without doubt my favourite neck piece!

  6. 2.5 hours? his neck must have felt like hamburger after… *cringe* that said (and to echo #5), huge props to the artist for such a solid piece, and the detail on the flowers is ridiculously beautiful. i’m not usually a fan of neck tattoos but this one is certainly different from most i’ve seen, it has such a clean and solid look to it.
