It’s the End of the World

Mark Gibson of Monki Do Studio in Belper, Derbyshire, England, sent in this piece he did on “Tom.” The good news is that it’s well done, if somewhat creepy. The bad news is that PETA has started picketing us for promoting cruelty to animals. The good news is that, to make up for it, we have agreed to pose naked in one of their “provocative” advertisements! Everybody wins!

Update! Astute reader Paraplugs notes that this is in fact a modification of the cover of an album called This Is What The Edge Of Your Seat Was Made For by British deathcore band Bring Me The Horizon. Thanks!

  1. PETA are a bunch of nutters. You can’t immediately assume that a tattoo like this is PROMOTING cruelty to animals; my first reaction was that it’s exposing the destruction of beauty involved in hunting.

There is no way people are ever going to stop eating animals, keeping pets, or using them for lab testing. Taking extreme stances and wanting to ban all animal use works against organizations that are trying to make animal use more humane.

  17. Oh, there are so many things I could say about PETA but what hasn’t been said at this point? In any case, I hardly see this tattoo as supporting animal cruelty.

If you want to talk about cruelty, how about the fact the PETA does support the owning of domestic dogs and cats. Some of those assholes even suggest that we should release domestic dogs and cats “back into the wild where they belong.”

Of course, the other side of that PETA arguement is all the weeping cunts in VA telling us down in Athens, GA that our Catch, Spay/Neuter, Vaccine and Release Feral Cats programs is also cruelty to animals.

    Wankers. The lot of them.
