This week’s follow-up features one of BME’s newest members, Kcir.
This Gorgon cutting was done a couple of months ago down in Houston, TX. To see how it’s looking now, you know what to do.
Given that this is only a couple months old, it may end up lightening a little more. The details all held up, so it’ll be interesting to see if it fades to the skin tone while still being visible. You can check out more of Kcir’s scarification work in the galleries.

Where was this done? I’ve been looking for a shop that does work like this, but it’s hard to find. Even harder to trust any shop I might find. Also been looking for a suspension group I could find here in Houston. Any help? Anyone? 😀

i did this cutting while working at the electric chair, in houston. i now work at houston body art on highway 6 by west little york. it was actually done about 3 years ago on a 64 year old woman. she suspended shortly after and has four other cuttings on her done by me. the grasshopper is one of them.

I saw the same piece of flash at the tattoo shop I go to, a couple of the snakes are missing tongues.

@pierce: I can’t recall the name, but it’s actually from a tattoo artist’s sketchbook. There are many similar designs, it is a rather old theme. I hadn’t noticed the tongue, thanks for pointing it out.
@cease. At this point I was still breaking into cutting on clients and didn’t have much experience. It did heal quite nicely and clearly. This was shortly after the scabs came off and it lightened to a much brighter shade than her natural skin tone.
