Now this was a tattoo that I could have never predicted. Back in October I was a little surprised to see a Lifehouse tattoo in the music tattoo galleries. Like I mentioned then, I don’t have anything against Lighthouse, but they’re just not a band you think of when someone says “I’ve got a band tattoo”. Well, the original was a great piece of lettering by Marcin Liana from Alien, located in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland.
It turns out Marcin wasn’t finished with just this, and has since expanded it to become an amazing abstract typography sleeve.
For those curious, that’s IAM: Kornik in the photos.
Nexizydrate is a big fan of Shannon Leto and Antoine Becks. For those unfamiliar with the duo, Antoine Becks is a DJ with the band CB7 and Shannon Leto is the drummer from 30 seconds to mars and brother of Jared Leto. Together the pair perform together at clubs and concerts worldwide and this is their logo.
If you didn’t know who the duo was, you could still look at this as a neat little minimalistic piece. It was tattooed by Adi Earl from Earl’s Tattoo Studio, located in Stamford, Lincolnshire, UK.
Oh, and speaking of Nexizydrate, I can never pass up an opportunity to post such a gorgeous lady.

You’re in for a treat today! Gabriel Cece has updated his BME portfolio gallery with some amazing tattoos, including this one, which is inspired by the album art from OK Computer.
Here’s a chest piece inspired by a song. The song in particular is “A Light So Dim” by Black Heart Procession, and artist Jason Tyler Grace did a great job capturing the essence of the song into this tattoo.
Sent in by Wallacetype, who got this tattoo while Jason was doing a guest spot at Three Kings Tattoo in Brooklyn.
Who’s up for a little metal this fine Monday morning? Maybe a little Death?
This ode to the cover art from Death’s “Leprosy” is by Krystof from Club Tattoo in Las Vegas.

In case you didn’t know yet, MCA passed away today at the age of 47. The Beastie Boy had been fighting cancer for a few years now, but it’s still a shock to know he’s gone. Whether you’re a fan or not, there’s no denying the world lost a very talented man today, someone who spent their career encouraging people to live their life the way they wanted, and to have fun doing it.

Jackie Rabbit has managed to take the Linkin Park logo and transfer it to flesh, while maintaining the spray paint/stencil feel of the original. To be honest, the only reason I know it’s the Linkin Park logo is from Jackie’s comments. Regardless of how you feel about the band, you can’t deny that this tattoo is pretty awesome.
